Digital Technologies enabling Sustainability with PLM

Sustainable development has been, is and will be one of the main global issues. Many initiatives have been launched to raise global awareness of the problem of the impact of manufactured products. To this end, new innovative and key digital technologies can make a very large contribution to an integrated approach within Product LifeCycle Management. In order to become a "green company", the ecological and economic aspects must be empowered with the help of modern digital technology along the product lifecycle in the sense of a "circular economy" approach. The Munich PLM Symposium 2021 will make a major contribution to this.

The key to sustainability also includes all activities in between and depends on a real commitment from society, research and manufacturing companies. We look forward to answering these PLM specific questions in the course of the Munich PLM Symposium 2021.

We would be very pleased to hear from you and your companies about your approaches to sustainable use of digital technologies for a green product lifecycle, covering the key phases: Design, manufacturing and service, including recycling throughout the value chain.
